Welcome to the Riviera on the Gulf of Thailand
Hundreds of kilometers with white sandy beaches, some developed and well-known, others remote and endless, form the Thai Riviera along the Gulf of Thailand. From the town of Phetchaburi close to the capital Bangkok to the "unseen" beaches of Khanom and Sichon close to the world-renowned island of Koh Samui, a wide range of different resorts, from basic bungalows to 5-star luxury, are available to choose from.
Every region, every beach is different, each has its own character made up of surrounding mountains, mangrove forests and inland lagoons. Leaning sand dunes with sparse vegetation, coconut and rubber plantations, the distant mountains along the Burmese border form the diversified landscape, interspersed by fishery harbors, mountain top temples and local villages.

Access to the Thai Riviera is easy with the main air hub in Bangkok (BKK) and an airport in Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. With secondary airports in Hua Hin and Chumphon, the State Railway of Thailand's Southern Line and an extensive network of local busses and private transportation services available throughout the region, traveling along the Thai Riviera can be diversified and fun.
